The Black Eyed Peas have announced the cancellation of their highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, which was set to begin on February 15 at Planet Hollywood’s PH Live.
Rumors regarding low ticket sales had been circulating for months, but the group—comprising Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo—explained on social media that the decision was based on “current circumstances.”
“To our dearest Peabodies,” the group shared on Instagram Stories, “It is with a heavy heart that, in light of current circumstances, our Las Vegas shows will not be moving forward as planned. Ticket providers will issue full refunds automatically. Stay tuned for updates on future performances by following us—we can’t wait to see you again.”
Ticketmaster has confirmed that all performances for the “Black Eyed Peas: 3008—The Vegas Residency” have been canceled. The trio was scheduled to perform 15 shows at the venue, spanning from February to May.
Black Eyed Peas initially announced the residency in September 2024, with Will.i.am describing it as an opportunity to push the boundaries of live entertainment. “Our first residency in Las Vegas gives us the chance to create something new and innovative, inspired by everything from Disney rides to AI technology,” he said. “We want to reinvent how we perform, blending a concert with a play to create an interactive journey to 3008.”
The group’s latest album, Elevation, was released in 2022, followed by a tour in 2023. Last May, they dropped the track “Tonight” with El Alfa and Becky G for the Bad Boys: Ride or Die soundtrack.
