The Palm Springs International Film Festival has revealed its Talking Pictures Program lineup, featuring a diverse selection of films, including Babygirl, Emilia Pérez, Maria, A Real Pain, Sing Sing, and Wicked.
The screenings will be followed by insightful discussions with a range of high-profile actors and directors, including Nicole Kidman, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Edgar Ramirez, Angelina Jolie, Jesse Eisenberg, and Colman Domingo. Directors Jon M. Chu, Halina Reijn, and Jacques Audiard will also take part in these conversations.
Special attention will be given to Emilia Pérez and Maria, which will be presented by Women In Motion, a Kering initiative dedicated to promoting women in the arts and culture.
The festival, which runs from January 2-13, will feature a variety of events, including the Palm Springs International Film Awards on January 3, the Book to Screen series, the Gayla, and several culinary events highlighting films such as Shelf Life, Trifole, and Rioja, the Land of a Thousand Wines. Sing Sing – 10:00 a.m. at Palm Springs Cultural Center (Camelot Theatres), followed by a Q&A with Colman Domingo.
Babygirl – 10:30 a.m. at Richards Center for the Arts at Palm Springs High School, followed by a Q&A with Nicole Kidman and Halina Reijn.
Maria – 11:00 a.m. at Annenberg Theater, followed by a Q&A with Angelina Jolie.
Saturday, Jan. 4
Emilia Pérez – 11:00 a.m. at Annenberg Theater, followed by a Q&A with Karla Sofía Gascón, Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, and Edgar Ramirez.
