The Amazon Prime Video comedy series “Harlem” will conclude with its upcoming third season. The announcement coincided with the release of the first trailer for the new season. Season 3 is set to premiere on January 23, 2025.
Tracy Oliver, the series creator, expressed her gratitude to Amazon for the opportunity to share the stories of four Black women in Harlem. She remarked on the journey of the show and its cultural impact, thanking fans for their support. Oliver is excited to unveil what she describes as the series’ best season yet.
The third season will explore significant changes in the lives of the main characters, focusing on themes such as motherhood, singlehood, sisterhood, and complex career paths. The official synopsis highlights that these ambitious women will prioritize their own needs above all else.
Vernon Sanders, head of television for Amazon MGM Studios, acknowledged the show’s journey and expressed excitement for viewers to experience a final season that honors its characters. He noted that while this chapter is ending, “Harlem” will continue to resonate with audiences.
The cast includes Meagan Good, Grace Byers, Shoniqua Shandai, and Jerrie Johnson, with Tyler Lepley also starring. Recurring roles in Season 3 will feature Kofi Siriboe, Logan Browning, Robin Givens, and Gail Bean.
