Amid the devastating wildfires sweeping through Los Angeles, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, were seen arriving in Mexico on a private jet.
While more than 100,000 residents have been evacuated and several A-list celebrities, including Tom Hanks, Anthony Hopkins, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, have lost their homes, DiCaprio touched down in Cabo San Lucas on Friday.
The Oscar-winning actor, known for his environmental advocacy, is the founder of the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, which has contributed over $80 million in grants for climate change and sustainability efforts.
Dressed casually in a hoodie and baseball cap, DiCaprio appeared relaxed as he disembarked from the plane alongside Ceretti, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The couple, who began dating in 2023, was joined by DiCaprio’s father, George, and his wife, Peggy Ann Farrar.
Also spotted at the Cabo airport on Friday was Larry David, the creator of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.
As the fires continue to devastate the region, many Hollywood figures are grappling with the loss of their homes. Earlier this year, DiCaprio and Ceretti sparked rumors of an engagement when she was seen wearing a heart-shaped diamond ring during a romantic trip to Italy. However, it was later revealed that she had owned the ring since 2022, before her relationship with DiCaprio began.
