In November 2023, Miles defended his mother on X (formerly Twitter) after she was dropped by her agency UTA for making controversial comments about Israel. He asked fans to stop using a clip of his mother “getting her hair done with her honkers out”.
Sarandon’s agency dropped her after she said, “There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence,” according to the New York Post.

Susan Sarandon has been open about her experiences as a working mother in Hollywood. She was told early in her career that talking about having children would make her “less sexy”. She was also told that she would be “done by the time you’re 40”.
