Entertainment attorney Dina LaPolt has unveiled the launch of LaPolt Media, a new company dedicated to producing content and showcasing her legal expertise. The company will also support LaPolt’s upcoming book, Street Smart: Succeeding in a Man’s World, set for release on October 7, as well as her new podcast, The Stiletto Room, scheduled to launch in spring 2025.
LaPolt has appointed Samantha Gayle Bullock as the chief media officer and executive producer for The Stiletto Room at LaPolt Media. Bullock, who previously took LaPolt’s UCLA Music Business extension course 15 years ago, will manage a team that includes The Press House for press campaigns and Crowd Surf for social media initiatives. Bullock’s role also involves coordinating with publishing and podcast distribution partners selected by LaPolt herself.
Bullock reflected on her journey, saying, “When I took Dina’s UCLA course—focused on the legal aspects of the music business—I was already running my own indie rock marketing agency. The experience was a game-changer for me. It empowered me and gave me a comprehensive understanding of the music industry. Now, having the chance to work with Dina is a dream come true, and I am excited to help bring her vision for LaPolt Media to life.”
In addition to her new company, LaPolt operates her own law firm, which provides legal representation to talent across music, film, TV, and fashion. While LaPolt Media will be a key venture, her law practice remains her primary focus.
“LaPolt Media is about channeling everything I’ve learned—from advocating for creators and breaking barriers to rewriting the rules—into new projects,” said LaPolt. “I want to empower people to own their stories and make a meaningful impact. Whether through a book, podcast, or bold ideas, I’m here to help others seize their power.”
She added, “While my law practice will always be my passion and priority, LaPolt Media will amplify voices and visions that deserve attention—no fluff, no nonsense—just unapologetic truth.”
