Lady Gaga has officially revealed the tracklist for her highly anticipated seventh studio album, Mayhem, scheduled for release on March 7. The album will feature singles such as “Disease,” “Abracadabra,” and “Die With A Smile,” a collaboration with Bruno Mars. Additionally, the album includes tracks like “Perfect Celebrity,” “LoveDrug,” and “Killah,” featuring Gesaffelstein.
The pop icon shared the tracklist in a video posted on Tuesday, where the song titles were accompanied by instrumental music. Two stars at the end of the list flash on and off, teasing bonus tracks: “Kill For Love” and “Can’t Stop the High.”
In a statement about the album’s creation, Gaga shared her journey of reconnecting with the pop sound that first resonated with her fans. She described the process as “reassembling a shattered mirror,” emphasizing that even if the pieces can’t be perfectly aligned, something beautiful and new can emerge.
Mayhem will feature 14 tracks and was executive produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt. The album’s production credits also include Gaga, Andrew Watt, Cirkut, and Gesaffelstein. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times in December, Gaga expressed that the album is a reflection of her diverse musical influences, stating it spans “so many different genres, so many different styles, so many different dreams.”
“It leaps around genre in a way that’s almost corrupt,” she told the publication. “But it ends with love. That’s the answer to all the chaos in my life — I find peace with love.” Gaga also revealed that the album’s journey explores both personal struggles and growth. “Every song that I wrote, I just kept getting kind of swept away in these different dreams I was having about the past — almost like a recollection of all these bad decisions that I made in my life. But it ends in this very happy place.”
Mayhem marks Gaga’s first full-length album since Chromatica in 2020, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Additionally, Gaga’s A Star Is Born soundtrack (2018), Joanne (2016), Cheek to Cheek (2014, with Tony Bennett), Artpop (2013), and Born This Way (2011) all also reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
