“Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” will return to theaters for its 20th anniversary, starting on April 25. To mark the occasion, graphic artist Matt Ferguson has designed a special poster for the re-release.
The film will be shown in U.S. theaters and select international locations for one week. It will also be available in new formats, including 4DX. “Revenge of the Sith,” the third installment in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy, takes place after the Clone Wars. It follows Jedi Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) as he succumbs to the dark side of the Force, becoming Darth Vader. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Yoda (Frank Oz) must go into hiding.
The film features an all-star cast, including Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman, Ian McDiarmid, Christopher Lee, Jimmy Smits, Peter Mayhew, Ahmed Best, Oliver Ford Davies, Temuera Morrison, Anthony Daniels, Silas Carson, and Kenny Baker.
