Gordon Ramsay’s popular cooking competition, “Next Level Chef,” has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6, just two weeks into its fourth season on Fox. Additionally, the franchise is expanding with a new holiday-themed spinoff, “Next Level Baker,” which has been greenlit for its first season.
“Next Level Chef” features a unique format where contestants compete across three distinct kitchens, ranging from a well-equipped top floor to a challenging basement level. The ingredients available to the chefs match the environment of each kitchen. The winner of the competition receives a grand prize of $250,000. The show airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Fox and is available for streaming on Hulu the following day. Gordon Ramsay and Matt Cahoon serve as executive producers.
The new spinoff, “Next Level Baker,” is a four-hour holiday special that will challenge bakers to create festive holiday treats across the same three levels. The competition will bring together passionate home cooks, social media creators known for their visually appealing creations, and professional pastry chefs showcasing Michelin-star quality.
Gordon Ramsay expressed his excitement about “Next Level Baker,” saying, “I’m delighted that it’s coming to Fox later this year. This holiday special will feature home cooks competing against social media creators and professional pastry chefs. My first job was baking in Paris, and I love the smell of freshly baked bread. I hope we discover incredible family recipes, inventive bakers working with dietary needs, and those with stunning creativity and design skills.”
Michael Thorn, President of Fox Television Network, noted, “‘Next Level Chef’ consistently raises the bar of culinary excellence as a high-stakes food competition that fans love. Extending the franchise with ‘Next Level Baker’ highlights our strong partnership with Gordon, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year.”
