The Glastonbury Festival has officially announced its headliners for this year: Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, and Neil Young.
The 1975 will take the stage on Friday, June 27, followed by Neil Young on Saturday, June 28, and Olivia Rodrigo closing the festival on Sunday, June 29. They will join Rod Stewart, who has already been confirmed to perform in the prestigious legends slot.
This announcement comes two months after Neil Young said he would boycott the festival due to the BBC’s “corporate control.” However, he later reversed his decision and confirmed that he would perform at this year’s event.
Other notable acts on the lineup include Charli XCX, Weezer, Raye, Doechii, Gracie Abrams, The Prodigy, Father John Misty, St. Vincent, Shaboozey, Kneecap, Noah Kahan, Loyle Carner, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette, Deftones, Wolf Alice, Jorja Smith, Busta Rhymes, Four Tet, Wet Leg, Denzel Curry, and many more.
Next year, Glastonbury will take a fallow year to allow Worthy Farm to recover, making this year’s festival even more in demand. The festival, located on 1,100 acres of farmland in Pilton, U.K., is the world’s largest open-air event.
