Raquel Leviss, entangled in controversy following her involvement with Tom Sandoval, is dropping hints that she might be bidding farewell to the reality show “Vanderpump Rules.”
In the wake of the storm unleashed by her affair with Tom Sandoval, Raquel Leviss took a step back from the spotlight. The 28-year-old sought solace in a treatment center in April, merely a month after the revelation of her secret liaison with Sandoval, who was in a long-term relationship with their co-star Ariana Madix.
Her representative conveyed to ET at the time, “Raquel and her family had already decided, prior to the relationship’s exposure, that she would voluntarily seek mental health counseling.”
Emerging from her retreat in June, Raquel remained off the radar until now. She has broken her silence in a podcast episode hosted by none other than Bethenny Frankel.
During an appearance on Bethenny’s “Just B” podcast, Raquel addressed a spectrum of topics, including her sentiment of being exploited by Bravo, a subject that Bethenny was eager to delve into.
Raquel expressed, “I heard your comments on TikTok regarding my case being used as an example of exploitation. It’s as if the network is profiting significantly from this scandal, and I haven’t received a single penny,” she confided to Bethenny.
She voiced her frustration, stating, “It doesn’t seem fair, and I feel like I’m a child saying, ‘It’s not fair.’ Yet, it truly isn’t. I’ve been painted as the ultimate antagonist.”
Evidently dissatisfied with Bravo’s handling, Raquel is contemplating parting ways with “Vanderpump Rules.”
“My errors committed on camera remain etched in history,” Raquel disclosed. “You pointed out the allure of reality TV and how they perpetually dangle that carrot in front of you, pressuring you to tell your side of the story, or they’ll shape it for you. It’s terrifying. That nearly tempted me back… solely for that reason.”
Though not explicitly stated, Raquel seems to have lost her appetite for the dangling carrot.
And she’s not alone in this sentiment.
During a recent Amazon livestream, Lala Kent divulged insights into the filming of season 11 of “VPR.”
Fans have recently speculated that tensions among the women have led to a rift with Ariana Madix.
This speculation ignited after an onlooker noted tension among the women during filming at SUR.
When queried by a fan during the livestream about her purported dispute with Ariana, Lala responded with surprise, “Really? I’m not aware of what you’re referring to.”
“We’ll all have to wait for the season to air to understand how everything unfolds,” the 32-year-old remarked.
Lala also alluded to this season as the most peculiar she’s been part of. “I keep saying this, but it’s just peculiar and incredibly challenging,” she expressed. “We’ve never experienced such a shift in dynamics before.”
Could this tumult be the catalyst for Lala’s exit? Fans believe Lala’s recent message on Threads hints at her departure.
While filming unfolded at SUR over the weekend, the mother of one took to her Instagram Threads.
“Have you ever reached a point where it’s not about needing time or a break, but realizing you’re ready to move on from something? I’m there. I think I’m ready to move on,” her post read.
According to Reality Blurb, fans have been vocal online about this message.
“I hope this isn’t about anything other than reality TV. You’re my favorite. I adore watching you on VPR, but I’d be thrilled to see you on Real Housewives,” one commenter shared, as reported by the outlet.
“Regarding VPR?” questioned another. “If you’re done, so am I! It won’t be the same without the only person who holds everyone accountable.”
“I hope this is just about Goat Cheese Balls or something, because VPR without you would lose a significant amount of energy!” joked a third commentator, as Reality Blurb highlighted.
