Meghann Fahy, known for her role in “White Lotus,” recently shared her experience of meeting Taylor Swift and being overcome with excitement during the encounter.
The actress, who stars in the popular series, had a surreal experience when she met Taylor Swift in person. Recounting the moment, Meghann Fahy revealed that she was extremely starstruck by the “Cruel Summer” singer, to the point of feeling physically unwell before the meeting.
In an interview with W Magazine published on August 15, Meghann Fahy expressed her feelings about the memorable encounter. She shared, “Meeting Taylor Swift was…I couldn’t have been more starstruck. I almost threw up before meeting her.” The actress further explained that upon seeing Taylor from a distance, she began crying involuntarily due to her overwhelming emotions. She added, “I was so embarrassed.”
Despite her initial overwhelming reaction, Meghann Fahy managed to regain her composure and approach Taylor Swift. She recounted the moment when she finally greeted the singer, saying, “I was like, I cannot say hello to her with tears in my eyes. I have to pretend to be seminormal, but I don’t think I fooled her. She put her arm around me, and she was like, ‘you’re fine.'”
Interestingly, it turned out that Taylor Swift was just as much of a fan of Meghann Fahy as Meghann was of her. Taylor had watched “The White Lotus,” and this connection added to the memorable encounter.
“She watched [The White Lotus], which was insane,” Meghann Fahy, who portrayed Daphne in the series, shared. “That was a true highlight for me.”
