Sadie Sink, known for her role in Stranger Things, is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Spider-Man 4. The actress will star alongside Tom Holland, reprising his role as the iconic web-slinging hero.
Details about Sink’s character remain unclear, though Deadline, which first reported the casting news, suggests that her role will be “significant.” The outlet speculates that Sink could play Jean Grey, a mutant from the X-Men universe who has previously been portrayed by Famke Janssen and Sophie Turner in past films.
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, the companies behind the Spider-Man films in the MCU, have yet to comment on the casting.
