Miley Cyrus has revealed her upcoming visual album, Something Beautiful, set to release on May 30.
While details about the project remain limited, the singer confirmed that the album will feature 13 original tracks. It is executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, known for their work with Kacey Musgraves and Alabama Shakes. The album’s cover, photographed by Glen Luchford, showcases Cyrus in a 1997 Thierry Mugler couture outfit. Fans can preorder the album in various formats, including signed vinyl, CDs, limited-edition vinyl, and two box sets featuring exclusive collectibles.
Cyrus has been teasing the album over the past week, updating her social media headers to hint at the title, while posters and billboards have appeared in Brazil, the Netherlands, and Argentina.
The announcement comes a year after the release of Endless Summer Vacation, which included the hit single “Flowers.” The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks, breaking multiple streaming records. It also won two Grammys for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. Endless Summer Vacation received nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
Meanwhile, “Flowers” is at the center of a copyright lawsuit filed by Tempo Music Investments in September 2024. The lawsuit claims Cyrus copied elements of Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man.” Tempo owns the catalog rights to the song co-written by Philip Lawrence. Recently, a judge denied Cyrus’ request to dismiss the suit, allowing the case to move forward to trial.
