FKA Twigs has announced the postponement of her upcoming shows in Chicago, Toronto, and New York due to visa complications.
The artist shared the news in a TikTok post, explaining that her team failed to complete the necessary paperwork on time to secure visas for the U.S. portion of her Eusexua tour. “Behind the scenes, it’s been challenging with production and the practicalities of putting this tour together,” she said. “I was informed today that the correct paperwork wasn’t submitted on time for us to perform in the U.S.”
Twigs was scheduled to perform in Chicago on March 26-27, Toronto on March 30-31, and Queens, NY on May 3-4. She expressed her disappointment, saying, “I’m completely devastated. I have not performed in the USA since 2019, and it really feels like a home away from home. This is such a huge blow, and I feel let down.” She also reassured fans that she is working to resolve the issue and will be rescheduling the affected shows, with further details to follow soon.
The Eusexua tour, which promotes Twigs’ third album released in January, had a rocky start with the cancellation of two European shows due to shipping issues. The next performance is set for Mexico City on April 6, followed by U.S. dates during both weekends of Coachella, beginning April 11.
