The Latin Recording Academy has announced that Maluma, Milo J, Rosalía, Shakira and Sebastián Yatra will be among the performers at the 24th annual Latin Grammy Awards in Spain on 16 November. Andrea Bocelli and DJ Premier are also confirmed to perform.
Last year’s big winner, Jorge Drexler, is a newly announced presenter, along with Anitta, Pedro Capó, Majo Aguilar, Luis Figueroa, Fonseca, Tiago Iorc, Mon Laferte, Natalia Lafourcade, John Leguizamo, Nicki Nicole, Carlos Ponce, Carlos Vives and Yandel. Meanwhile, Mexican pop singer Danna Paola and Yatra have been confirmed as hosts, along with actresses Roselyn Sánchez and Paz Vega.
The Latin Grammys will be held outside the United States for the first time in the history of the Spanish-language awards show, a move the academy’s CEO says reflects the globalisation of Latin music.
