Ariana Grande sent her fans into a frenzy by confirming her return in 2024 with the announcement of a forthcoming album. The celebrated star made this revelation on Wednesday morning through a series of captivating social media posts.
In a carousel of Instagram photos and videos, Grande shared her excitement, captioning it with a simple yet powerful message: “See you next year.” Tagging her producer Ilya Salmanzadeh, Republic Records, and other collaborators, Grande offered a glimpse into her creative process with a mix of emotions. The posts featured a range of in-studio moments, from her mother joyfully dancing to a screenshot of a FaceTime call capturing her own dance moves. Additionally, there was a snapshot of what appeared to be a warehouse, possibly hinting at a music video set, and another photo revealing a vulnerable moment as she sheds tears.
Describing the album’s essence, she wrote on her Instagram story, “The two moods of the album.”
In a video shared by someone close to the project, Grande is heard expressing the near completion of the album, remarking on her exhaustion but also her immense happiness and gratitude. She humorously adds, “I also feel like I weigh 3,000 tons.”
Grande’s fans received a special care package from the artist, featuring a photo showcasing her trademark red-tinted lips and a red lipstick from her R.E.M. Beauty line. Accompanying the package was a handwritten note reiterating the sentiment: “See you next year.”
While juggling her entrepreneurial ventures, Grande has been deeply engaged in her role for the upcoming “Wicked” film, set for release in November. Recently, she inked a deal with Brandon Creed and his new management firm, Good World Management. This move follows her split from longtime manager Scooter Braun, confirmed by sources four months ago.
Joining a prestigious roster at Good World Management, which includes Demi Lovato, Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Orville Peck, and Mark Ronson, Grande becomes part of a collective that also includes former Fifth Harmony singer Normani, thanks to a co-management agreement with Lydia Asrat’s firm, Q10.
