Celebrity Big Brother 2024 is nearing its climax after nearly two weeks filled with chaos, intense nominations, and entertaining challenges.
The remaining contestants include former X Factor judge Louis Walsh, This Morning personality Fern Britton, reality star David Potts, Coronation Street actor Colson Smith, and Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin. Heartstopper actor Bradley Riches was eliminated in a back-door eviction during the penultimate episode.
Riches’s departure came after a segment where housemates were visited by their loved ones. However, instead of a familiar face, Riches was greeted by Celebrity Big Brother co-host AJ Odudu, who revealed that Riches had received the fewest votes and was the seventh housemate to be evicted.
The atmosphere in the Celebrity Big Brother house has been tense, notably with Kuzmin involved in a heated dispute with Britton over the past week. The tension escalated during a physical challenge on Wednesday’s episode when Kuzmin accidentally injured Britton.
Some viewers have raised concerns about the fairness of the show, particularly regarding Walsh’s continuous presence leading up to the final. Britton nominated Walsh for eviction, but a twist in the game granted him immunity, sparking accusations of favoritism.
Celebrity Big Brother continues tonight on ITV1 and ITVX, with the final set to air on Friday night.
