EASTLAKE, Ohio – David Njoku, the talented tight end of the Cleveland Browns, is set to host the highly anticipated annual celebrity softball game at Classic Park.
Scheduled for Saturday, June 8, the event will kick off with gates opening at 2 p.m. The excitement continues with a thrilling home run derby starting at 4 p.m., leading up to the main game.
Last year’s event saw the participation of notable figures such as Browns’ defensive back Greg Newsome and Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell, who clinched victory in the home run derby. The lineup of past games has included prominent Browns’ players like Myles Garrett, Kareem Hunt, Denzel Ward, Baker Mayfield, and alum Bernie Kosar.
Previous editions of the game have also seen appearances by sports icons like UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end Travis Kelce, and former Ohio State receiver Ted Ginn Jr. The team captains in previous games were former Browns’ cornerback Joe Haden and receiver Jarvis Landry.
